When making an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) application, candidates will be asked to enter personal details.

What personal data do I have to submit in the ESTA application?

In order to obtain authorization to enter the US without a visa, eligible foreign nationals must enter certain information in the ESTA application form.

The following personal details must be entered:

  • Full name (as it appears in the traveler’s passport)
  • Nationality
  • Date of birth
  • Passport number
  • Passport expiry date
  • Country of citizenship
  • Contact details (email address, phone number, etc.)

This information is confidential and are merely used for screening purposes to approve the traveler’s entry into the US.
